Dr. Madhulika Sahoo

She is an Anthropologist by training, currently working as Assistant Professor in Anthropology (Odisha Public Service Commission), Department of Anthropology and Director Student Welfare and Placement at Kalahandi University, Government of Odisha, India. She has more than  5 years of experience in development sectors and have worked on tribal development, gender and health,  forced migration issues in India and the United Kingdom.

She holds a MA in Refugee studies from the University of East London. Her PhD. research was on the reproductive healthcare of displaced indigenous communities from protected areas in India. Her research interest includes climate change adaptation, tribal development, forced migration and gender and health. She is the Editing Manager at Avoidable Death Network. And invited fellow SEED ECR Research Colloquium, Informal Urbanism Research Hub, University of Melbourne. She is also reviewer in different international journals. Recently she edited a book titled 'Ethnographic Research in the Social Sciences' Routledge Publisher
